Taufiq has played at scores of Music Conferences and Festivals, all over India and the world (USA, UK, Russia, Australia, Singapore, UAE, Belgium, Hungary, etc)

He has featured as a soloist or in a duet / jugalbandi or with his own band or in collaboration with senior maestros, eminent artistes, as also distinguished contemporary artistes.

With the blessings of his Guru and father, Ustad Allarakha, and after a long arduous journey of over 20 years, Taufiq is applauded by critics, connoisseurs and audiences; both, from the field of Fusion World Music or New Age Music as well as Indian Classical Music.

One of the most honourable concerts for Taufiq has been performance at the Closing Ceremony of the Common Wealth Games 2006, Melbourne, Australia. He represented India along with many great names from the field of Sports such as Sunil Gavaskar, Vijay Amrutraj and also those from the film industry. In 2008, Taufiq performed for the Opening Ceremony of Youth Commonwealth Games held in Pune, India.

‘Taufiq Qureshi’ is an enormously popular name in the Corporate Sector for exclusive sit-down, live concerts for events like ‘Multinational Product Launch’, International Conference’ ‘Award Function’ or Team building exercise like ‘Drum Circle’ as well as various other corporate gatherings and events.

One of Taufiq’s recent most ventures, his band ‘Mumbai Stamp’ has entertained many an audiences, all over India. The amazing rhythmic motifs Taufiq weaves along with his band members leaves the listener wanting for more, the band enjoys the appreciation of all types of audience-be it music lovers, corporate world or the novice. This band catches the pulse of the audience and in fact is a spectacle to watch as well.

Taufiq has left his mark on many a public events such as Award Nites, Beauty Pageants, Popular television shows, etc

In the past, Taufiq has had the privilege and honour of accompanying on tabla; not only his legendary father and Guru, Ustad Allaraka and Maestro Ustad Zakir Hussaain but also some of India’s greats like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Thumri Queen, Smt Shobha Gurtu, Danseuse Kathak Queen Sitara Devi, Ustad Sultan Khan, Pandit Brij Bhushan Kabra. Today, as a percussionist he has shared the stage with greats like Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pandit Jasraj, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Vikku Vinayakram and international maestros like Giovanni Hidalgo, Antonio Sanchez, Charles Lloyd, John McLaughlin, Mickey Hart.
